Welcome to Zenful Balance,
I’m Karmelina. My journey to finding peace, balance, and joy started in a place many can relate to—stress, anxiety, and the overwhelming weight of a 9-5 job. I used to feel stuck in the hustle of daily life, with no space to breathe or enjoy what truly matters. One day, I made a decision that changed everything: I quit that life to follow a path that felt more authentic to me.
After a powerful Reiki session at a local yoga studio, I had a vivid dream of my mother, who had passed away several years before. In the dream, she guided me to start a healing journey.
That moment was the beginning of a new chapter for me, one that included not only Reiki but also yoga, mindfulness, and meditation as tools to manage the stress, anxiety, and depression I had been battling.
Travel and nature have been huge inspirations in my life. I’ve explored Guatemala’s stunning Lake Atitlan, where I learned about cacao ceremonies and ecstatic dance, as well as the vibrant cultures of Mexico and El Salvador. These experiences opened my heart and mind, deepening my connection with myself and the world around me.
Now, I’m here to share what I’ve learned, helping others find their own balance, reduce stress, and feel their best. Whether it’s through Reiki, mindfulness practices, or just connecting with nature, my goal is to guide you on your journey to peace and self-awareness.
Reiki is a gentle healing technique that originated in Japan in the early 20th century.
Energy healing is an ancient, non-invasive, holistic practice that activates the body's subtle energy systems to remove blocks.
By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body's natural ability to heal itself is stimulated. Reiki is an energetic, hands-on healing system that supports the mind, physical body, and soul. Energy flows through the practitioner's hands and is directed to specific body parts and organs in need of detoxification, stimulation, and healing.
As a result, a client may feel a warming sensation, pulsing, tingling, ease, or nothing at all. During a session, it is common to experience a greater connection to one's physical body, mind & soul.
How does Reiki work?
During a treatment, a Reiki Practitioner will use a hands-on healing technique; balancing, realigning, and recharging the body's energy thereby triggering the body's natural healing ability and promoting deep relaxation and a sense of well-being. Reiki heals all aspects of the person which is why it can be used to alleviate and help with so many different ailments and issues.
